Check Security Features
With the increasing level of sophistication forgers possess, it takes a very special paper to have criminals bypass your business checks. Check Advantage offers that paper which provides an added layer of security by embedding covert features into each sheet. At Check Advantage, we understand that protecting yourself and your company is priority #1. With the sheer amount of information exchanged today, it is critical that businesses take precautionary measures when attempting to prevent identity theft and fraud. This is the reason we have built in the following security features to deter check fraud and provide you with peace of mind.
Security Features for 3-On-A-Page & Laser Business Checks
All of our 3-on-a-page and laser checks meet ANSI X9 standards and are Check 21 compliant. Each check includes the following security features:
- (1) "MP" Logo on the signature line which stands for MicroPrinting and is recommended by the Financial Stationers Association
- (2) Padlock Icon inside the border which indicates there are a minimum of two security features on the checks
- (3) Warning Band in the border of the checks indicating the document contains security features
- (4) Microprinting to create the border for 3-on-a-page checks and the signature line for laser checks which repeats the words "Original Document" and cannot be duplicated by a typical copier or scanner
- (5) StarLightsT Invisible Fluorescent Fibers are undetectable to the naked eye but visible under UV light
- (6) Security Screen printed on the back of each check, which will not photocopy clearly and reads "Original Document" with a list of the security features
- Bleach Reactive Brownstain & Full Solvent Reactivity
- Ghost Security Pattern does not reproduce on typical photocopier or scanning equipment
- Color Security Pattern complicates attempts to alter the document using cut-and paste forgery techniques
- UV Dull Basesheet makes this product easy to distinguish from typical printing paper when viewed under UV light
