Beware that some unscrupulous companies use these seals illegally on their websites to boost your confidence but offer you none of the protection you deserve. If in doubt, please contact these companies directly and ask them yourself if the website is a partner. Also beware that there are many knock-off versions of each seal, some created by competing companies that offer very low quality protection because they are trying to undercut the leaders. Also note that some websites actually create their own security seals to save themselves money and offer you zero protection. It really is the wild west out there, so be very careful!
