The Art of Nature

The National Audubon Society is named after an ornithologist named James Audubon who studied the birds of America in the early 1800s. But his quest was about more than simply science. Audubon was also an artist.

His goal was to paint all the birds in North America. Along the way, he discovered 25 new species and created what many call the best book on wild birds ever published.

Your new checks feature original avian artwork and eye-catching photography. Species include the striking sandhill crane as well as the pileated woodpecker and the barred owl. You don't even need a pair of binoculars to enjoy these beautiful birds.
