Fairies have a reputation for being mischief-makers and pranksters. The spritely spirits would sometimes play tricks on humans for their own entertainment. But in many fairy tales, these mystic beings also came to the hero's rescue.

Some believe that the fairy is actually a demoted angel. They are considered not quite good enough for heaven, but not evil enough for hell. When the gates of heaven were shut, fairies found themselves caught in between - here with humans on earth.

Perhaps that's why we can relate to them. After all, we too are "stuck in between" here on earth!
