When artist Bill Drysdale was young he had two passion. Architecture and drawing cartoons. Much to his delight, he grew up to do both!
"I loved drawing as a young boy, and dreamed of becoming an architect or a cartoonist," he recalls.
In college he majored in architecture, but switched halfway through. This lead to a 20-year career in architectural illustration followed by a shift into fine arts. You can tell his skill in both from these beautiful watercolor portrays of the Southern California coast.
