Music in the Breeze

Growing up in the country, I can remember playing outside on a long summer's evening with a soft breeze creating a song in the wind chimes that hung on our front porch.

My parents would sit together on the big swing and watch us running around the yard. It was so carefree. So peaceful. So perfect.

Now I live in a busy city where cars honk their horns, sirens blare and dogs bark into the night. But I also have my own wind chimes hanging out on the balcony of my apartment on the 6th floor.

When I close my eyes, I can shut out the distractions and go back to those summer nights in the country.
