From Oddball to Artist

When renowned photographer Ansel Adams was just a young boy, the great San Francisco earthquake of 1906 threw him to the ground and badly broke his nose.

This caused his nose to become permanently crooked. As a result, he became quite shy and had trouble fitting in at school. Adams may have also struggled with dyslexia and described himself as a hyperactive child who spent much of his time playing outdoors alone. But when he was 14, the gift of a camera and a trip to Yosemite changed his life forever.

Nature photography gave Ansel Adams confidence and purpose. He would dedicate his life to capturing the beauty of America, especially her National Parks. We've featured four images on these return address labels - including the Rocky Mountains and the Grand Canyon.

Plus, these labels are self-adhesive. That means preparing outgoing mail will be extra easy. Just peel and place on every envelope.
